My expertise with teachers comes from years of working in various capacities in school systems.  

 I substituted in the Seattle School District during college in various capacities-mostly in special education classes and as a sign language interpreter.  

My professional work began in rural Alaska (LKSD) as a School Psychologist. I flew in small planes to mostly small rural villages to support teachers and evaluate students.   I then moved to a larger school system and worked primarily with Deaf students. 

My private practice began after several years as a School Psychologist. 

Interesting fact: I was the 45th person licensed in the state!  

For several years, I've provided therapy to teachers in rural and urban schools.  As a former Special Ed teacher (briefly) and School Psychologist,  I understand teachers' stress and workload. I enjoy helping teachers balance and enjoy their work,  by reducing stress and creating lasting changes.  

I have many tools to help you relax, set boundaries, reduce anxiety or depression, increase self-compassion, and improve relationships.  We will work together to help you enjoy your life and work.  I use research based tools. I will teach you to listen and follow your intuition, so each day you can make the best decisions.    Are you ready?
